The University of Sheffield is a long-established research led university which is home to one of the largest and most respected engineering faculties in the UK. The University hosts the Centre for Advanced Additive Manufacturing (AdAM) which conducts world leading research in additive manufacturing, led by a team of internationally respected academics. The research undertaken is valued by industry across many sectors including aerospace, medical devices, automotive, consumer products etc. The University also hosts the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), which specialises in translational research and development.
